Good Reads; Book Review

By Princess Lola LeDeaux

My son and I got this book in the mail last week and since then I can not
keep ahold of it as he keeps taking it to go and look through.
I am glad he likes it so much as I did too and I know it is going to become
a family favorite.
If you have not seen it I suggest you look for it as it is really good.
It is a story as you can tell about a dog who blogs but it is also so
easy to follow and the pictures are wonderful to Love it.
.I Loved that it is about a Basset Hound as this is my husbands favorite
dog and even he will sit  down and read to our son which is so nice to see,

I am lucky enough to have one of the books to give away
The mandatory entry is to go to

Tilly's Tale-Review

Tilly's Tale
I would like to start the review out by saying this is a series of books

and I was able to read and review the first two. The second is
Dylan's Tale. I Loved both books as I am a Dog Lover.
These books tells the story's of dogs that the owners rescued from
Shelters as they had been abused. So they are called rescue dogs.
I hope these book will help you open your eyes to how many animals
are abused on a daily basis.

I know we can not adopt them all but what we can do is visit our local
shelters and offer to walk the dogs or take them things they need as
lots of shelters barley have the money to keep there doors opened.
Start a fundraiser in your neighborhood and lets save some animals.
Save your change and drop it off it might help them with food.

Now I would like to share Tilly's Tale with you

This is the first of a series of book on the dogs this family rescues.
As of now they have 15 dogs.
Hopefully one day we will hear all of there stories.

Tilly was 18 months old when she was adopted.
She is now 4 years old.
Tilly was living with a gentleman named Sam only he passed away.
So his son took him as he told his dad he would.
Only his wife hates animals and refused to let him inside and so she would
Plus she would kick me when ever she saw me.
stay outside and freeze and she ended up sick.
Once in awhile the son would bring her a treat.
One day he loads Tilly in the car and takes her to a Shelter.
I am not really sure where I am but the other dogs explain to
me where I am and why.

They take me to the vet and fix me so I can never have puppies.
They groom me and feed me which reminds me of Sam.
I start to see other dogs leave and I wonder why.
3 weeks pass and a women says she wants me only she never comes back.
I am heart broken.

Finally a women and 2 kids come and they seem to like me.
Finally they come back with there other dogs to make sure we get along.
We do.

So they adopt me I have a family finally.
Only one of the sausage dogs Candy passes away.
2 months later I met Dylan.
Then Sophie dies too.

But I am not sad as I have Dylan as a friend now.
They take me to dog training which is called  "Canine Behaviourist".
I am the fastest and I learn agility.
I spend my days sitting with dad while he types.

My mum helps me stay groomed as a girl has to look good.

Did you know I have won ribbons but to find out what kind you
must read my book.

There is much more to this story but I am going to stop here as
you need to read it and you need to pass it on to other  dog lovers.
Pick up a few copies and drop them off at your local shelter I am
going to.

I enjoyed sharing this book with my son and my husband and I look
forward to learning about the other dogs as well.
This book deserves 5 stars

Thanks, Glenda

    Dylan's Tale-Review

    Dylan's Tale

I wanted to share with all of my readers two awesome reviews my wife has up on her blog for two books called Tilly's Tale and Dylan's Tale

These are about rescue dogs Dylan's Tale
Only by rescue dogs I mean ones that had been beaten and abused.
I was able to sit down with my family and read them both.
I can tell you men do not cry but if you read these book you just might.
My son is only 3 and even though the books are for a more mature
audience I wanted to share with him why we are so kind to animals.
He could not believe someone would hit a dog.
So know when he sees animals he is even more kind to them which I like.

Since reading these books my family and I now volunteer at our local shelters
and we help them raise funds.
This is a nice way to be able to spend time with your children while teaching them.
I do not want to go into details on the books as I prefer you read my wife's reviews
but I can tell you there are 15 dogs and I look forward to reading about all of there stories.
My son is so excited to know one of the dogs is called Snoopy and another Charles as he
seems to think they where named after him.
I would like to ask everyone to go and purchase these books and donate them to your shelter
or so people who adopt would be able to read them and know how not to treat there dogs.
Now Please go by Mommies Point of View and read her reviews.
Plus we may have the Author answer questions for us in the future.
    Thanks, David and Charlie

    Review-Paper Toy Monsters

    Paper Toy Monsters
    Castleforte

PaperToy Monster is a book my wife was allowed to review on her blog and
I decided I would look at it as my son Loves Monsters.
So one night I sat down with him and we looked through it.
I can tell you he loved the Monsters and we spent a lot of time that eve.
making them and playing with them.
I am glad my wife was able to review this book as it has give me something
new to share with my son.
I also got it out while my BIL was here for dinner and he did not want to put it
down he was so amazed that he could actually make the monsters that he
know is wanting a copy of the book so he has it when my son visits.
I have not found one person who does not like it as my next door neighbor wants to
buy it from us only my wife will not sell it
Even her and my sister in law have gotten into making monsters with us so I can say
this book is for kids of all ages.
I hope you will check into it and once you do Please let me know what you think of it.

Thanks, as I am off to watch Wrestling with my son and make some more monsters.

    Thanks for reading my Review
    Wiggles and Daddy

    Review Danielle Steele Southern Lights

    Danielle Steel
    Southern Lights
    401 pages
    5 Stars
I have been reading Danielle Steel since I was in high school.
I wait for her books to come out.
I have never ever found one of her books I have not liked.
I also like the fact you can watch them on TV.
So I was so happy when for Valentines my husband went and
got this book for me as I was not expecting it.
As a mom of a 3 year old I never buy books for   myself anymore
so it is nice to know my husband watches for her books to come
out and picks them up for me.
Hint Hint David another one is coming out soon I saw it on the Internet.
What books can you not do without?
I would like to share my thoughts with you of Southern Lights
Normally I prefer romances and this is a Fiction.
It is also a little bit of a thriller.
It is one of those books which is hard to put down.
I feel in Love with both the mom and the daughter and I hated
knowing they had to be separated.
I liked seeing her forge a relationship with her dad.
I would like to have pushed her step mother off a cliff but that is not nice
so Please forgive me but she is that type of person.
I can tell you you will laugh and cry at this story.
So if you have not read it Please give it a try and come back and let me
know what you think of it as it is wonderful.
